A malignant cyst associated with the pancreas. Pancreatic disease has been called a 'silent' infection because very early pancreatic cancer generally will not cause symptoms. If tumefaction blocks the normal bile duct, and bile cannot pass in to the digestive system, skin and whites of the eyes may become yellow (jaundiced), and also the urine can become darker as a consequence of built up bile pigment (bilirubin).
