Computerized axial tomography scan. CAT checking is a painless X-ray test for which a pc generates cross-section views of someone's physiology. It could recognize regular and irregular frameworks, and it may be employed to guide procedures. Iodine-containing contrast material is sometimes used in CAT scanning. A patient who's sensitive to iodine or contrast materials and is planned to possess a CAT scan should alert health related conditions while the radiology staff towards sensitivity.
