CASH-AND-CARRY ARBITRAGE meaning in Law Dictionary

n ARBITRAGE method in which an income are secured by borrowing resources, using the profits buying the ASSET, and attempting to sell a FORWARD or FUTURE thereon asset. The arbitrage just exists as soon as the FORWARD PRICE is more than the SPOT COST as well as the COST OF CARRY. See also REVERSE CASHANDCARRY ARBITRAGE.
