A rare neurological disorder with frequent temporary episodes of paralysis of just one region of the body (hemiplegia) generally starting ahead of the age 1 . 5 years. The attention motions, face, or limbs may be paralysed on either region of the human anatomy, but on just one part at a time. The cause is as yet not known. Abbreviated AHC. Also known as alternating hemiplegia problem.
