(Gr. agnoio + logos, discourse on lack of knowledge) J. F. Ferrier (1854) coined both this term and the term epistemology as connoting unique regions of philosophic query to get ontology. Agnoiology could be the doctrine of lack of knowledge which seeks to determine that which we tend to be fundamentally ignorant of. Its a critique of agnosticism before the latter's look.
