A term created to apply to auto liability protection for an owner/operator after lots was delivered and while the truck just isn't being used for trucking functions. This typically occurs when an owner/operator is operating his or her automobile for flexibility only (age.g., along the way residence), and never for the duration of transporting home for the motor service under whose running expert they carry, and on whose obligation policy they rely as they are engaged in trucking.
