Cardiac septum meaning in Medical Dictionary

The dividing wall between your right and left edges for the heart. That portion of the septum that separates both top chambers (the proper and remaining atria) of this heart is termed the atrial (or interatrial) septum; the portion that lies amongst the two reduced chambers (the best and left ventricles) associated with the heart is called the ventricular (or interventricular) septum.
