Carcinoid syndrome meaning in Medical Dictionary

A syndrome due to carcinoid tumefaction which secretes large amounts of this hormones serotonin. The problem is straight due to the serotonin. Features include flushing and blushing, swelling of the face (especially all over eyes), level angiomas (little selections of dilated arteries) on the skin, diarrhea, bronchial spasm, rapid pulse, reasonable blood pressure levels and tricuspid and pulmonary stenosis (narrowing of this tricuspid and pulmonic valves of the heart), frequently with regurgitation.
