a condition caused by disease with a part of the family of bacteria that triggers tuberculosis and leprosy -- the bacterium Mycobacterium ulcerans -- that starts as a painless inflammation within the skin, most commonly into the limbs (the legs and arms) and results in severely deforming ulcers. Complications consist of losing organs including the eye and breast, amputation of limbs alongside permanent disabilities.
