Fievre boutonneuse or African tick typhus, among tick-borne rickettsial diseases associated with the eastern hemisphere, like Rocky hill spotted fever, but less extreme, with fever, a tiny ulcer (tache noire) at your website of the tick bite, distended glands nearby (satellite lymphadenopathy), and a red raised (maculopapular) rash. The French term "boutonneuse" means pimply. Also called Conor and Bruch's disease.
