A chronic illness featuring swelling of small blood vessels and characterized by a triad of features: ulcers into the mouth, ulcers associated with genitalia, and irritation of eye (uveitis). The mouth ulcers usually provide as recurring plants of aphthous ulcers. Arthritis can be commonplace. The explanation for Behcet's syndrome just isn't understood. Its much more regular and extreme in patients from the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia than in those of European lineage.
