Atkins which allows for unrestricted quantities of beef, mozzarella cheese and eggs while seriously restricting carbohydrates, including sugar, breads, pasta, milk, fruits & vegetables. The Atkins diet is dependant on the theory that consuming carbohydrates promotes producing insulin, which results in hunger, consuming, and fat gain. The idea is that people in the Atkins diet knowledge decreased appetite and their health utilize saved fat for power versus burning up sugar from ingested carbohydrate. Losing fat for energy is supposedly trigger fat reduction.
