Ant-Management occurs when a business really operates well, and all the staff do what they're designed to do - therefore the management seems redundant, and thus worry layoffs.Therefore they start "re-organizing", which (on a well running company) has got the same result as trembling an ant-farm: most of the employees stop doing what they were likely to do, and begins running around like crazy because no one understands what is happening and everybody's in a state of alert.Management thinks they did excellent, because all of the workers are actually busy, and you can see all of them running everywhere. Productivity nonetheless drops to a fraction above zero.
