AE Lock meaning in Computer Science Dictionary

Short for Auto publicity Lock and quite often called AEL, AE Lock prevents the digital camera's visibility options from switching, if you move the digital camera from area to some other, the car publicity system doesn't replace the aperture or shutter speed. For example, a photographer shooting a portrait could place the individual off-center take a meter reading off the topic, AE lock it (alongside focus), and move the camera to re-compose the niche. Aided by the digital camera secured, the visibility cannot move if the background is darker or less heavy compared to individual.
